Drawdown before return
A high-frequency book can produce a beautiful return chart and still be a bad system, because the chart only shows the months that survived. The number that decides whether an account is investable is the one underneath it: how far it fell, how often, and how long it stayed down.
FX Blue records a 0.00% peak drawdown on this account. No losing day booked. No losing week (worst +6.05%). That is the number this report exists to publish, and it is checked against the public record rather than asserted.
| Peak drawdown (equity curve) | 0.00% |
| Worst day | +0.00% |
| Worst week | +6.05% |
| Worst month | +13.38% |
| Risk of ruin (FX Blue model) | 0.0% |
| Average win / average loss | 1.02 : 1 |
| Trade win rate | 56.7% |
| Profit factor | 1.34 |
| Average trade length | 52.2 mins |
Drawdown is measured from the running peak of the equity curve and shown as a percentage. The worst day, week and month are the lowest period returns on record, expressed as a percentage of the account.
The average win and the average loss are almost the same size (a ratio of 1.02 : 1). That is deliberate: the targets are small, the stops are wide enough to survive normal noise, and the edge comes from being right 56.7% of the time rather than from a handful of large winners. Position size and stop distance keep the drawdown low; the outer drawdown limit on the account is agreed with the client before trading starts and applied to the account.
Why equity and balance sit on top of each other

Equity is what the account would be worth if every open position closed at the current price. Balance is what it is worth with nothing open. On a book that holds positions for hours, the two lines separate and the gap between them is the risk the client is carrying at that moment.
NIC-X closes every position before the session ends, so the gap collapses back to zero. Over the 12 daily observations in this record the widest gap between the two curves was 0.97% of the opening balance, on 15 October. At the snapshot the floating P/L is zero and the two lines are the same number: $56,689.34.

The figures
| Balance | $56,689.34 |
| Equity | $56,689.34 |
| Floating P/L | zero — nothing open at the snapshot |
| Closed profit | +$6,689.34 |
| October return (month to date) | +13.4% |
| Weekly return | +6.5% |
| Total return since it opened | +13.4% |
| Trades per day | 97.8 |

What the system is doing
NIC-X trades a displaced print: the same instrument quoted at two different prices at the same moment, because FX and metals are over-the-counter pairs with no single exchange to anchor a price. When a print is away from where the rest of the market is dealing, the system takes the mispriced side. It only engages when the gap clears the round-trip cost by a multiple, every order is sent Fill-or-Kill on FIX 4.4, and the stop is written before the entry exists. It is not latency arbitrage and it does not bet on price reverting to an average — it arbitrages the print.

How to read this record
The record is published in full: every trade, every day, with the drawdown next to the return in the same size type. What the system is worth is decided by the curve, not by the headline — an edge that only shows up in good months is not an edge. If the curve ever retraces, that number appears here first.

Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. Trading leveraged products involves risk. Figures are taken from the public FX Blue record for the NIC-X account on 2026-10-24 and shown in USD.
